HOME VISITS
The Centre is the best place to have a consultation, as there are better facilities to examine you and to arrange any necessary urgent tests. Therefore, we request that you visit the Centre - if at all possible.
Home visits will be made if a patient's medical condition prevents them from leaving home. They will not be made for social or domestic reasons, nor for lack of transport.
For home visits, the Practice cannot guarantee a specific Doctor.
If you feel a home visit is essential, please telephone before 11:00, as this enables the Doctors to plan their visits according to the urgency of each problem.
You can also be visited at home by a Community Nurse or Paramedic, if you are referred by your GP.
You could also be visited at home by a Health Visitor, if you have recently had a baby, or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
